We Love Them Too
Pets are family, and the staff at Southern California Veterinary Specialty Hospital is committed to caring for your pet with the same kindness and respect we treat our own.
You and your general practice veterinarian are the primary care providers for your pet, but in some cases a specialist is required to facilitate more complex diagnoses and treatments. The veterinary specialists at SCVSH are among the best in their fields, and the standards of care within this state-of-the-art facility are unsurpassed.
In emergency cases, a referral is not required. Specially trained Emergency and Critical Care staff is available 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. As one of only nine hospitals in the U.S. designated a Veterinary Trauma Center by the American College of Veterinary Emergency and Critical Care, SCVSH has equipment and resources in place to increase survival rates for even the most severely traumatized pets.
With unique spots as a calling card, Dalmations are perhaps the most easily recognizable breed in the world. Dalmations are prone to genetic deafness, so all puppies should be BAER (Brain Auditory Evoked Response) tested to make sure they can hear.
